What an amazing brand, Big Green Egg! I got the honours of designing their app, and it turned out great, if I may say so myself.

Let’s talk a little about the visual concept behind what we’re looking at. There are two ‘worlds’ within the app. The functional and the inspirational world. All functional pages are sandy/white, all other pages are a mix of dark green tones and full width images.

The thing that is amazing about Big Green Egg, is the vast variety of accessories they have. It’s very modular in that way, allowing you to cook, bake, smoke, grill almost anything. The dark green pages have this modular look and feel as well. All building blocks are full width with only 8px in the sides and above/below the block. Making all blocks stackable, and giving it the modular look.
